Full Time Toddler Nanny in Troy

Fun Troy family is seeking a short term nanny for the next 6 months for their 2.5 year old daughter. Start date is flexible, but sooner than later is preferred. Flexible days/hours depending on what nanny wants. Could be anywhere from 24-40 hours a week but will never be outside of 9-5:30pm. $18/hr++. Must be willing to get COVID vaccination when available, a small social bubble, and prior toddler care experience.

Mom and Dad both work from home. Mom on main level with a closeable door and Dad in basement (never comes up). Family rated themselves as a 2 on the COVID rating scale. Family has a very friendly 50 lb, short haired dog and medium haired old lady cat. Family wants to treat their nanny as more of a family member, and hopes the build a quality relationship in the short time together.

 

Ideal candidates will have Montessori, respectful parenting or early childhood education/training, but not required. Daughter is extremely verbal, and has been taken care of mostly by Grandpa. Nanny needs to be comfortable with taking toddler outside, going to the play ground, coming up with crafts/activities, and helping with light housekeeping.
