A sweet family In Farmington, is seeking a part-time nanny for their 5-month-old son starting January 6th, 2026. The position would last 1.5 to 2 years, ideally welcoming the caregiver as a member of the family. The core schedule requires care on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 18 guaranteed hours.
Primary responsibilities focus on the infant's care, including engaging in interactive play, reading, and supporting his developmental milestones and baby-led weaning. The role requires light cleanup related to the baby, such as cleaning up food, wiping down countertops, and tidying toys, but no family laundry, cooking, or errands.
The parents (one working in an engineering/technical field, the other in finance/analysis) both work from home, and the nanny must be comfortable being around them and a friendly, small 8-year-old Pit mix dog, who will be kept separate in the office. Parents do not plan to hover, but will most likely be around the kitchen area for snacks/lunch time. Hourly rate is $22+ depending on experience.
