Job Title: Full-Time Nanny for Two Boys in Birmingham
Location: Birmingham, MI (Maple/Cranbrook area)
Start Date: End of August, absolutely the week after Labor Day
About the Family:
Single Dad household with two sweet, silly, and sensitive boys, ages 10 and 7. They are both diagnosed with ADHD and take a morning medication. They are a vegan, Jewish family and have a 65-pound Bernadoodle named Potter.
Job Responsibilities:
Childcare: Care for the boys on Tuesdays (afternoon only, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday (afternoon only). This includes early mornings on Wednesdays and Thursdays, school drop-offs and pickups, and driving to and from their various after-school activities.
Meal Prep: Prepare vegan meals for the children.
Light Housekeeping: Assist with children's laundry, changing sheets, and tidying common areas.
Pet Care: Feed the dog and handle occasional trips to the groomer or vet.
Household Management: Occasional errands or meeting contractors at the house.
Desired Nanny Qualities:
A fun, kind, and structured personality is a must.
Must be a safe, reliable driver with their own car (mileage reimbursed). Booster seats will be provided.
Experience with older children is preferred.
Must be a non-smoker and comfortable with the family's Jewish faith.
The nanny's own children cannot regularly accompany them.
A female caregiver is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
Rate: Starting at $23+ per hour. Guaranteed hours.
Benefits: Paid time off (3 weeks), sick days (3-5), paid holidays (including Jewish holidays, Christmas, and New Year's), health stipend (up to $200/month), and other perks are negotiable.
