Description:

A single father is seeking a reliable, professional, and long-term (ideally a few years) Household Manager/Family Assistant to support his two children: A1(15 male, freshman) and A2 (10, 4th grade). A1 has high-functioning autism, ADHD, and OCD tendencies, benefiting from adult supervision and executive functioning support. A2 is highly intelligent, creative, and sensitive, requiring a warm, caring, and outgoing presence. A female caregiver is required due to A2's sensitivity.

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours:

School Year: 20--25 guaranteed hours per week. Could offer more hours, or a guaranteed amount of pay per week depending on abilities and needs of employee. Primary hours are M/Tu (7 AM until around 5 PM) for morning routine/drop-off and after-school care. Additional hours are used on Fridays for household management/errands.

Summer: Full-time hours. Schedule alternates between weeks focused on full-time childcare and weeks focused solely on household management/administrative duties.

Occasional weekend care may be requested for activities.

Core Responsibilities:

Childcare: Morning routines, school and activity transportation (must use own car), keeping children on schedule, and providing emotional/executive function support.

Household Management: Children's laundry (clothing, sheets, towels, bedding), grocery shopping, meal preparation (for kids, and dinner for father on off-weeks), running errands (dry cleaning, UPS returns), managing household product lists, organizing children's closets, and acting as a point of contact for home renovations during the summer.

Qualifications & Traits:

Required: Must be a reliable, punctual, even-keeled female caregiver (age 21+ preferred) with professional experience, ideally with older children.

Required: Must own a safe, reliable vehicle and be willing to transport children.

Required: Must be vaccinated against Flu and COVID (anti-vaxxers will not be considered).1

A background in teaching or a similar field is preferred, as is a Catholic or Christian background.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $24++ DOE

Taxed position with Guaranteed Hours.

Benefits include 2 weeks Paid Vacation, Sick Days, Paid Holidays, Mileage Reimbursement, and lunch at the country club while on duty. The family is open to discussing health benefits reimbursement.
